Chettle Campsite - back-to-basics campsite, Dorset

This quirky, back-to-basics campsite sits beside the quiet Dorset village of Chettle.⁠

The campsite is several acres in size, with cars parked away from tents and simple facilities including a pair of rustic showers with water warmed only by the sun (finger’s crossed). The central focus of the place is the little field shelter and communal campfire but each pitch also has its own dug-out fire pit.

Bell tents can be rented, furnished or unfurnished and there's a handful of campervan pitches too.
