Rio Costilla Park & Campground - RV and tents, Amalia, NM

Question

Rio Costilla Park is nestled in the northern mountains of Taos County New Mexico. Camping/Fishing May 1st through Labor Day weekend. Call for Hunt info.

Campsites are kept pristine and as close to natural as possible. There are small canopies, tables and designated fire rings throughout the sites which are first come, first serve.

Remember camp fire restriction may apply at any time. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED. 

Our campsites can be found along the Rio Costilla River and there is approximately 3 miles of additional campsites past the main Park entrance (Visitor Center location) along the existing streams (Latir, Lemos and Midnight) as well as designated sites around Little Blue Lake and Latir Lake #3. Keep in mind, we recommend 4-Wheel drive to access our lakes due to rough jeep trails
