The Causeway Coastal Route is a spectacular 120-mile (around 190 km) driving route along Northern Ireland’s north Antrim coast, weaving together natural beauty, ancient legend, and coastal charm. It’s known for dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, lush glens, and iconic heritage sites — including the Giant’s Causeway, where hexagonal basalt columns meet the Atlantic Ocean.

Along the way you’ll also pass Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, the atmospheric Dark Hedges, and historic ruins such as Dunluce Castle.

The region is rich in outdoor experiences: hiking through Glenariff Forest Park, cycling the coast, sea kayaking, and birdwatching. The food scene is also a highlight — think coastal cafés, traditional pubs, artisan producers, and even foraging tours.
